The QVC bit was pretty darn good. I wonder if there are some P&N libs upset about McCain/Palin getting facetime so close to election day..

I think there was more concern that you would have more inane comments and feel the need to post them. Looks like the concern was justified.

He actually seems like a decent guy and has a good sense of humor.

Agreed. Obama should offer him a post
If this election keeps following the script of the last year of the west wing, obama will offer mccain secretary of state.

It won't. He won't. Alan Alda was a lot better politician than McCain IMO.

Yeah, but you've got to admit, other events so far are eerily similar.

Hell, Jimmy Smitts was talking with Obama and McCain before their rally in Florida on last week :)

I think one of the commentators said something along the lines of, "Here stand Barack Obama and Bill Clinton with the most recent Democratic president." :)

That would be hilarious. Was it caught on video?

Yup, it was an epic win for sure. Thanks for the link.

I can almost guarandamntee you that Keith will play at least a few clips from it on Monday's show :)

um.. this was the most non-epic snl clip ever. 1, ben didn't pull off keith olbermann's mannerisms at all. 2, i was QUITE over the top. 3, it just wasn't that funny.

there were a couple things i thought were funny, though... like making fun of the old english, formal way of speaking and how he how he uses the words "decency" and "sir" a bit much.

^^^^^ A quiet example of complete and utter ownership, if you're scoring at home, folks. :p

Could it be because you like Olbermann so much that you didn't find the sketch funny?

Olbermann loved it (of course he would). He even got a signed cue card from Ben :)

no, it couldn't. i don't really care much for olbermann. the only pundit i can think of that i like is chris matthews. the snl hardball skits were actually funny, unlike this olbermann skit.
