the 6.10s are actually done.

apparently tho the posting of them is being held up due to the web ppl being being "prioritized" to work on the new (ugly imo) website makeover. the beta 6.10s are the final product; they just aren't whql certified.

i'd prolly be more excited over the 6.11s, or perhaps the 7 series driver's with reworked AA modes...

Anyone else notice that the ATI driver dates have been slipping a bit since the acquisition...? it may not be related, but I think there's pretty much been a "where's my Cats?" thread every month since the acquisition.

They should slip. It's a lot of work to buy out a company and then fully integrate them. I'm sure they will be back up to speed in time for the R600 launch.

Looks like they finally integrated the Chuck Patch. Kind of risky to do if ATi really stole HDR+AA like some suggest...:p

I have noticed the drivers from ATi have been slipping. The 6.6's had the best stable/performance ratio out of any of the recent ones, but are not as CrossFire friendly as the ones from 6.7 and on. They need both good CrossFire attention with stability and performance invovled, not one or the other.

Oh well, it doesn't support the 1950 Pro yet. Hopefully with 6.11, it will finally see that. The X1950XTX has been out for a long time now and it's just finally made its made into the 6.10 drivers?

Whats the point of 3dmark performance increases? Who cares? I mean, if it were a sample of what we can get in games, cool... But its not

 You're right!! God that's a joke. They support the X1650 Pro, but not the X1950 Pro, and the X1950XTX was just now added.

C'mon ATi, that's just pathetic.

First paper launched, then overpriced, now unsupported....

R600 better not follow the same fate, or I'll snatch two 8800GTX's in heartbeat.

LOL. Ya, maybe the ATI programmers misunderstood the complaint they received. It was actually the gamer who failed to respond after a 36hr marathon.

Well, there are gamers like ourselves and then there are the people who only use their rigs for benchmarks. To each their own, I suppose.

Still the same image corruption issues in DVD playback as in previous versions. This is definitely my last ATI card.

Are you sure it's the card's fault?

I've had no DVD playback issues with any of my ATI cards... or my Nvidia cards for that matter.

I rolled back to 6.3 last night, after I got a blue screen of deal with an ati dll. I never remember having any trouble with that driver version so I'm going to see if this solves the problem. I noticed another previously fine system having odd issues after I installed the 6.7 version.

I've used every recent version of the Cat's and I've never had any issues like this. Is this a game specific issue or do you get these bluescreens out of the blue?

I haven't installed the 6.10's yet only because I've had some server apps running and haven't had a chance to do the whole clean/install/reboot routine.

Eh, working  here. And thats after running the ATI uninstall on the CD drivers, as well as the 6.10 beta drivers.
