What's happened to the eagles?

Looks like the Eagles era of NFC East dominance is coming to an end. I expect to see a significantly different team on the field a year from now. Probably a different coach too - a combination of family problems and a bad record will drive Andy Reid out of Philly.

With the deadskins playing better than expected and if the giants can manage a halfway decent season, the eg'ls could be the cellar dweller this year.

It is getting painful to watch, can't blame Philly though with all their injuries...

So who's o-line played worse today, SF or the Eagles?

After a 50 something point routing last week, I was expecting more from the Feagles. Guess the Cowboys are tops in the East/NFC.

Only saw the first half, but dayum.
Go Giants.
I've never seen a defensive unit turn a season around so quickly.

I'd love to believe that the Giants D has really turned things around like this, but I think the Eagles offensive line is just a joke.

Six of the 12 sacks were from Usi Umenyora picking on a backup. Even Strahan in his post game interview said he felt sorry for the guy... wondered why the Eagles didn't make any adjustments to help him out.

I couldn't believe the game today. It was sack after sack. Eagles made very little progress. :|

After watching the Eagles put a thumping on my Lions and watching this game I just had to shake my head. Against Detroit the Eagles spent a lot of the time with short crossing routes and little flair passes, usually to a running back, which were out of McNabb's hands so fast there was no chance for a pass rush. I know they didn't have a running game today, but those short routes would have done something to get McNabb out of trouble.

Their scheme sucked as much today as it was good last week.

That's true, but backups play often in this league, and teams don't often get 12 sacks. It's probably a combination of both.
