Why? A normal console SNES can be had for ?20, games for ?1-?100. All secondhand, though, but I don't mind. I thought it'd be more widely available.. 🙁

The reason that NES is so widely duplicated and the SNES is not, is because there is an NES on a chip out there that can be hacked into tiny form factors. The SNES never got fabbed onto one chip, so all people have done is cut down SNES2 Mobos. There is a 2600 on a chip, a Megadrive (genesis) on a chip, and an NES on a chip, but most consoles never got that treatment.

If you want portable SNES buy a PSP or a Gp2x or a GP32.

Hmm.. 🙁 So I'll either have to get a PDA or a portable gaming device or just buy the console 🙁... Damn. Any instructions for the NES on a chip? If it's not too expensive, I might build one 😀. Even though I'm not rich, doesn't mean I can't have nice things 😛.
