FWIW, would it make more sense to post the answers to our questions in your first post(via singing in and going to edit)? That way when the thread gets to be 20-30 requests long, people don't have to read all of the, "any good deals on...", to see if the product they want has been answered. But it's your thread, you decide.

Sure. Makes sense. However, the problem I am faced with is that I have a limited amount of time available to me to maintain this thread.

I would be eternally grateful if a member at the top of the thread (i.e. dabuddha or krapils) could help me out and edit their message with my posts.

Just don't post any replies. Instead of replying, just add the requested items to you intial post. Then it won't take any extra time and everyone can just look there first.

Or, if someone has a website out there, I'd be happy to scan the images and put them online, I just don't have a website to host them on.

Yup, the advance notice is great, but there has got to be a better way to organize this. It's important to realize that nobody is bitching about anything, we all just want to help make the deals more available for everyone. To that end, any more brainstorms on how to make this work?

To that end, any more brainstorms on how to make this work?

It looks like the same wants come up each week, the big ones being consoles, new release console games, pc games, CD/DVD media, graphics cards, and hard drives, and CD/DVD writers. My guess is the easiest way is just to post the deals in the most frequently requested categories and be done with it, but that's a lot of categories. However, that should tide most people over until Sunday rolls around. There's probably a backlash waiting to happen again if trevdiresforu scanned and posted the ads so I don't think that's what you want to do.

hell some guy posted the 4/13-4/19 OM ad like 1 week ago...the SCANS of it that is...

i mean unless you work for any of these companies, its no big deal to post them somewhere...

Pretty straight forward. The T and Cs from the site that I get the images from does not allow me to:

1. Host the images.
2. Pass along the scans for hosting.
3. Share my username and password.

Bottom line. Anybody that displays a scan of an advertisement risks getting a letter from the retailer.
