That's weird, do you have the latest update? (v12.1) If so, have you tried rolling back? (v12.0) Previous versions available here:

Also, do you have the latest Windows updates? I've only rolled out Snagit 12 to maybe 10 computers so far, but I haven't had any issues. But then again, Snagit has always had a history of being a tad buggy 😛

No. Certainly not against it but I already have a snagit license. One of the big things I like in snagit is the picture manager that basically "ingests" all the captures in a row. I can then go back and mark them up and do a mass copy and paste in word / the web / whatever and it will inject them all which then leads to an easy way to do descriptive text.

It is really handy for a manual the explains Outlook Rules or some other thing as I can keep capturing the windows after each step with a single button press. Add arrows and annotations, then plop them all in to word as a large group.

Yeah, the gallery feature is huge. Snagit looks inane to outsiders, but I have people who literally live in it all day long, especially if you're writing work instructions or doing document control or things of that nature where you want fast access to the images & the tools.
