I am building a new system with SN25P from NCIX. The store went thru 3 brand new SN25P all have no posts? Now 2 weeks after I placed my order, I am still waiting for my system... My question is are they reliable or am i just bad luck?

AMD 64 3000+ venice
2x512MB RAM
Seagate 250GB SATA
SN25P
Connect3D X800 256MB

My SN25P systems goes a little something like this. It worked fine for two weeks, then the system inexplicably shutdown on morning. (I think I was trying to run 3DMark or something). The system wouldn't power up thereafter (I'd get one spin from the fans and that's it.) I figured that the PSU had bit the bullet and went the RMA route with Shuttle (for the PSU only). Two weeks later, a "replacement" PSU arrives. After a quick install, I see that my problem remains ... the system still won't boot. It turns out that the video card was the problem. As this was my first foray into PCI-E video, I never thought to check the card (it had been fine for two weeks!) nor did I have another PCI-E system in the house to test it. After a few easy tests in the office, I easily verified that the video card was dead. RMA time once again. (In the mean time, I pretty much concluded that the 350W PSU just wasn't enough for all my components, so I lowered my self-esteem and bought a refurb GeForce 6200TC card. While it hasn't been two weeks yet ... heck, not even one week yet, but the card has been fine ... and I actually get to use my SN25P.)

Well, the replacement video card arrived today from BFG. For my "troubles," I get upgraded to a dual-DVI BFG 6800 GT OCX. Great. Now I have an even more power-hungry video card that may be too large to even fit in my under-powered SN25P. I might be willing to exchange this card for some decent speakers or other goodies in FS/FT in the very near future.

-SUO, not having dual-DVI is teh suck
