SMTP and POP3

so i opened the POP3 port and SMTP port on my router to try and use them for Email... How could i set up to get email for my domain name thorugh this?

WTF, the only reason to open up ports on your router is if you're hosting an email server on the forwarded computer.

No doubt. If you don't know what you are doing, stop trying now. It'd probably be a wiser investment to just use godaddy.com's services.
