I just got SMP.. [2] 700@933's. um, i dunno how to read rc5 now. i understand each proc is doing 2 crunchers

[Jun 18 04:38:23 UTC] Automatic processor detection found 2 processors.
[Jun 18 04:38:23 UTC] Loading crunchers with work...
[Jun 18 04:38:23 UTC] Loaded RC5 32*2^28 packet 38F21BAB:20000000 (21.30% done)
[Jun 18 04:38:23 UTC] Loaded RC5 32*2^28 packet 38F21A86:90000000 (29.30% done)
[Jun 18 04:38:23 UTC] Summary: 3 RC5 packets (68*2^28 keys)
0.01:22:37.87 - [3.50 Mkeys/s]
[Jun 18 04:38:23 UTC] 105 RC5 packets (3180 work units) remain in 0.rc5
[Jun 18 04:38:23 UTC] Projected ideal time to completion: 2.04:07:00.00
[Jun 18 04:38:23 UTC] 354 RC5 packets (9864 work units) are in buff-out.rc5
[Jun 18 04:38:24 UTC] 2 crunchers ('a' and 'b') have been started.
.....10%.....20%a...b

but sometimes at the end, it states 2.35 Mkeys and sometimes 4Mkeys. hmm? is 4 the combined sum of both procs? i dunno..

thanks.

You've got it, 4 is the combined rate of both crunchers. It will report that as well as the rate of each individual cruncher. Enjoy your SMP! :)

It usually reports two rates as the client works. One is the speed that the last block was cracked at and the other is the speed that blocks have been cracked overall since the client was started

umm .... You must have some other stuff going on in the background. You should be doing around 5.2 Mk/s.

but reguardless that is a nice addition to the team!
