I'm getting bored with cereal and toast for breakfast. This morning I'm looking for a good smoothie recipe. Do you have any good smoothie recipes? Please share them here. :D

I used to work at Jamba Juice.. so most of my smoothie recipes that I know are from them. My favorite would have to be..

Strawberries, Peaches, Frozen Yogurt, Lemonade, and Ice.

I have a horrible sweet tooth...so one of my fave smoothies came from "The Abs Diet". They have amazing smoothies in their book if you're trying to shed a few pounds!:

12 oz low/non fat chocolate milk
2 tbsp low/non fat vanilla yogurt
2 tbsp peanut butter (skippy natural works best)
2 tsp ground flax seed
2 scoops chocolate protien powder
6 ice cubes

makes 2 servings

It's a great breakfast and is quite filling!

My favorite:
1 banana
1 cup pineapple in its own juice (not heavy syrup)
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tbsp sugar
1/4 cup powdered milk (you could use real milk if you wish, but powdered milk is fat free and keeps this from being too liquidy)
1 egg
Ice to 28-32 oz total.

My 2nd favorite when I want something easy:
1 Can of frozen juice concentrate (any flavor, but orange and grape really go well)
1 dash sugar
1 dash lemon juice
Ice to ~32 oz total.

If you like that one, definitely take a look at the Abs Diet book. They have quite a few really good recipies in there - not just smoothies. :)

... only fitting that you were first to suggest such a combination eh? :D

before I saw the rum.. i was thinking, what smoothie could possibly need sugar added? lol

Frozen tropical fruit from Costco.
A scoop of vanilla ice cream.
whatever juice I have handy (usually Dole's Pine-Orange-Banana, but sometimes I water it down because it's a bit too sweet)
a bit of ice
