I was home the entire day and the speakers are nowhere to be found. So I called UPS and they basically told me to wait and they will call me back in a day or two. I then called staples and they said they will send UPS an urgent note. Is there anything else I can do about this? If it really is lost am I out of luck? Thanks in advance.

Dude, thanks for the sweet speakers! Free beats 15 bucks... lol. jk. Check the street for some unsual noise?

nah, really, that would suck if they got lost, I hope they will show up! Asked your neighbor if they kept it for you?

I got the speakers today. I called UPS and found out that they mistakingly shipped it to somebody that lived 10 houses down the street. The csr told me that it would take around 8-10 business days to send a driver to get my package, but I first had to call staples and start an inquiry for missing packages. Then staples would contact ups to authorize a trace on a package. I don't understand why there is a need for a trace on package that isn't lost. I just asked for the address and walked to the neighbor's house. The package was opened- some ppl don't respect the mail I guess. But everything was there, so no complaints here.

Well, this is to be expected - you are creating a feedback loop or something similar - you make a noise in your mic, the speakers reproduce it, the mic picks it up and the speakers reproduce it, the mic picks it up and the speakers reproduce it, the mic picks it up and the speakers reproduce it, the mic picks it up and the speakers reproduce it, the mic picks it up and the speakers reproduce it, the mic picks it up and the speakers reproduce it, the mic picks it up ...

hehe.

got caught there in a little loop myself.

That's called feedback and happens with all speakers if the microphone is taking in the sound that is being put out by the speakers. It's not a problem with your speakers

The thing I really love about the Hot Deals forum is the perpetual trend of posting in a thread without reading even the previous 10 posts to find out that the "breaking news" you're bringing to the table has already been posted 5 times.

LOLOL! Sorry, I couldn't resist, I know you posted just at the same time I did, but it is just too funny .... sometimes a signature comes back to haunt you ;-)
