Ok, Circuit City has the HP 4.0MP 812 camera (3x optical/7x digital zoom) on sale for $249.99 right now.

Add that to your cart, it also will come with an offer for a $25 gift card by mail.
now add the HP Photosmart 7150 to your cart, which was just lowered to $99.99.

If you buy the two together there is a $75 rebate also, in addition to the 20% if you use MSN wallet for checkout (Search MSN in hot deals for more info)

Final Price is as follows:

HP 4.0MP Digital Camera $249.99
HP Photosmart 7150 printer $99.99
Tax (FL) $22.75

Total: $372.73

- 20% MSN $74.55
- $25 Gift Card MIR $25
- $75 Cash MIR $75

Grand total: $198.18, either shipped free or for instore pickup, i'm picking mine up :)

Another version of this deal is with the 2.1 MP version, HP 320 camera, which is $134.99, plus the Photosmart 7150 for $99.99, plus tax (15.28 for me here in florida) for a pre rebate total of $250.28, minus $50.06 for MSN and $75 MIR for a total of: $125 for a 2.1MP camera and photo printer!!

Good price for a decent camera. I would have definitely considered this if I hadn't gotten in on the canon a70 deal for $200 a while back

they raised the price back up to $309.99, it was $249 as of 7am or so this morning. Looks like it was a pricing error. LMK if anyone else jumped on this, i just picked mine up

Just a small warning... :disgust: :camera:

www.dpreview.com gave this camera a below average score.

Conclusion - Pros
Good colour, good use of dynamic range
Accurate metering
Good auto white balance under natural or incandescent lighting
Images look good reduced to XGA or less
Relatively low noise levels (especially at ISO 100)
Compact and light weight, feels fairly robust
Very easy to use, super-simple interface and point-and-shoot functionality
Only requires two AA batteries, good battery life
Movie clips include audio, 5 second audio annotations can be attached to images
Rotation of actual image in-camera
Automatic lens cover

Conclusion - Cons
Very poor LCD brightness for live view in daylight
Soft images (a combination of a below average lens and low in-camera sharpening) *
Thin-line purple fringing around white overexposed areas of the image
Colour shift on almost or just-over-exposed areas of the image
Very poor JPEG compression, large JPEG files with lots of artifacts (especially at 1136 x 856)
Only compatible with SD cards (no support for cheaper MMC)
Slow AF compared to other modern digital cameras (1.5 sec+ plus is normal)
Slow write times (approx. 90 KB/sec)
No white balance selection
No exposure compensation
No control over image processing (sharpening, contrast, colour etc.)

In other words you get what you pay for. Are you willing to blow 2 C notes for lousy quality? Your call.

that's not lousy quality for -$200
it's moderate quality for $150
"so does anyone think this is a good deal"
i got the 320 this past week for $39.04 + tax on YMMV clearance
thought about getting that all-in-one they carry for $97 to use rebate
but that's YMMV
thanks for posting!

Pretty sweet deal! :)

I don't need another printer, so didn't go this way, but did this deal on OfficeMax.com instead:

HP photosmart 320 2.1megapixel camera $149.98
Endust 10-oz duster free after rebate ($4 - $4mir)
Lexar 128mb usb jump drive $ 34.99

Total was $188.97, minus the $30 coupon code I used, plus $13.12 tax, plus a small shipping fee (unfortunately the closest OM is too far for me to be within "local delivery area"), for a grand total of $172.09 + shipping.

With the free after rebate for the duster, and a $15 (and possibly a $10) mir on the jump drive, plus 4% (??) back by going through ebates, PLUS over $34 back in MSN dollars (depends on how much they charge me for shipping), my grand total will be less than $120 for a camera and jump drive!! :D

I'm using the camera as a gift for a good friend who really needs a good digital camera, plus throwing in a 32mb SD card I already have onhand. :)

i have this camera and it's not really that great. although it's 4MP, it's very poor in low light settings and has a very cheap feel to it. and lately it seems to be corrupting my fotos. not sure if that's the SD cards problem or the camera itself. but for $200 which includes a printer AND a camera, this is an awesome deal!
