LOL no relation. Ya at first i was going to get a 42 also. I was looking at the panasonic 42 EDTV which is 2000 until i found out about this deal. For less than 500 more you get 8 in of screen realestate and true HDTV rather than just EDTV. I only sit about 8 feet from my tv but for the price there was no comparision.

Dunno... I'll be sure to tell you on Saturday (I won't be home til then, so that's when I had it delivered). Did you install it yourself? Wall mount? Is it hard to do?

There was a $300 installation fee, but that was kind of pricey, so I opted to just buy the mount and try it myself. Any suggestions?

I didn't do the wall mount. I just put it on my tv stand since it fit perfectly where my 32in toshiba use to fit. If you mount it on your wall your going to need at least 2 other people probably. This think isn't that light and i sure wouldn't want to drop it. I got to watch the NFL playoff games on it. The game against carolina/seattle was in high def...and oh my was it awesome. When they got half way close to the players i could actually see scratches in the players helmets. I and definitly glad i got it. I looked at best buy and its on sale right now for over $3000. We got a heck of a deal on this tv that is forsure.

Yeah, I was telling my coworker about the deal and he wanted to look at it too. Best Buy raised the price up by $150, but it's still $2999 at circuit city. He said he'd rather buy it from CC anyway.

My friend and brother are going to help me install it (hopefully). I'm getting kind of anxious and scared though. I'm really debating hiring someone to install it.
