I was just in office depot today and I saw the t3 for 199. Why settle for an E when you can get a t3? heres a link to their site.Link
 
It's got to be a misprint... T3's just came out and T2's are still in the 300 price range. I bet they cancel any backorders.
 
But it seems you can back order it. Why not?

EDIT: N/M. It seems that they will charge you when it ships, and they'll probably try to charge full price.

EDIT #2: I changed my mind. My backorder is in. If they change the price on me I'll just cancel the order.

Ok, if the original poster says that he saw it IN STORE at this price, then EVERYONE, very slowly, and CALMLY STOP PLACING ORDERS FOR IT. If they get a deluge of orders, they WILL notice and correct the price. If we all wait until tomorrow and just grab them in store, chances are good at least some of us will be able to grab one (as compared to.....none of us, when they cancel our orders).

Here's a novel idea. CombatChuk was actually in a *physical* store today. No, really. It's actually possible to get up from the computer and go to another place on this planet; I've done it quite a bit myself. Then, CombatChuk just happened to see that the t3 was $199 and decided to share his great find. Of course, you could also acknowledge the possibility that CombatChuk has never visited "the other site". As if there are only 2 sites on the freaking interweb.

I do believe the odds of someone looking on the hotdeals site at anandtech...are very high...that they have looked at the other sites. Along with the units being posted all over the net since 12pm...id say that is a very very late start.

Well to break it down. The site that finds the best deals, the most, gets the most visitors, which increases users to that board. Which, inturn, increases the amount of deals posted. This brings in more revenue for the forum operator through advertising, which allowes the board to survive and yet again allow more deals to come to that board. Hence giving credit to the orignal board, which is a form of advertising, as people would be inclined to go to that board and see what the orignal post was about.

Plus it is unethical to steal someone elses idea and repost in without giving credit IMHO.

Every freakin OD in the Denver metro area is out. All 20+ stores......I did manage to find 2 though.....🙂
 
I used to look here first for my deals and then go to chubby wallet. But for the last few months I use chubby wallet all the time. I only occasionally look here anymore. It's dead here. It's not what it once was. The reason to me is it's so restrictive here. It's not called bandandtech for nothing. Why only get some of the deals when you can get all the deals elsewhere?

Just found me one in So.Cal. have it setup for instore pickup. Nothing they can do now. I have the receipt from website. Hehe. 😱) Scored one at half price. Will tell you store loc. tommorow once I have it in hand. Dont want anything to go wrong.

Actually, your card isnt charged until you pick it up, so no official contract has been made in their eyes.... However, i wish you the best of luck... Im heading out in the morning to hopefully pick one up too 🙂
