Why the hell would you smoke cloves? Tobacco gives you a buzz and satisfies your addiction (a great feeling), and marijuana gets you high. But what is the point of a clove?

I smoke my cloves like a joint.

That sh!t gets you fscked up. 😀

Haven't had one in a long time though.

Guess what buddy. Cloves give you about twice as much nicotine as a normal cigarette (the nicotine is what gives you that buzzing feeling).

I didn't know cloves had nicotine, and that makes me question why someone would smoke them even more. If you're going to get addicted just smoke normal cigarettes which seem to be much more healthy, available, and in my opinion enjoyable to smoke. Oh well

Clove cigarettes are mostly tobacco.

Clove cigarettes are mostly tobacco.

Usually anywhere from 60-70% tobacco.

clove cigarettes are tobacco, they are just flavored in clove oil

they are tobacco so they contain nicotine and give a buzz, but are much more flavorful

most clove cigarettes are filtered, tho there are some that are not

That can be true for some, however, Djarum Original's are still hand-rolled and contain the "dank" of the clove plant. They are also one of their most expensive ones.

Used to be my legal smoke of choice but, they will make your lungs bleed if you smoke them too much. Yes, I inhaled!

Yeah, that's why I quit, I started coughing up blood.

Wow, you're not supposed to inhale cloves noob!

Meh, plenty of people inhale cloves, veterans and noobs alike. It's really just a personal preference. If you can handle the smoke, then by all means go for it.

I hate to say it but, those people are morons. Inhaling cloves is like inhaling a cigar. Cigaretts have a filter, cloves do not. It should be obvious how bad it is for you. You smoke a clove for the taste, that's it. If you want to inahle, smoke a cigarette. Unless you're a Darwin candidate, you shouldn't inhale a clove.

Most cloves have filters now. They are meant to be inhaled. Man I haven't smoked cloves in awhile, too many make me sick, but I'm wanting em now.

Dude, according to the government measurements, cloves and cigarettes are just about equally bad for you. Smoking a non-filtered clove is about the same as a Lucky Strike. A filtered clove is about the same as a Marb Red. Cloves contain about 70% tobacco, however they usually contain about 25% more total ingredients. When it all works out, they are almost exactly even.

Sampoerna X-tras were the smoothest clove I've smoked. Highly recommended

The Shermans weren't bad either (better than Djarum Specials), but they just weren't as smooth as the Sampoernas for me. They're worth a try though

Yes!! I read this thread a while ago, trying to remember the names of the ones I liked. Ugh, those are good.
Tas.

 on the Sampoerna X-tras
I've tried Sampoerna Exclusives and that other variety. Also had a Djarum or two. Nothing beats the X-tras though, IMO.

If I smoke a cigar, or one of my pipes, I inhale sometimes, definitely gives a buzzzzz
