One question:
Which one Core or Premium do I need to buy in order for me to play hd-dvd, or it doesn't matter?
I can get a hd dvd transport at CC for $159.99 AC.
 
I picked up one of these this morning at the Tustin, CA Micro Center.

They said that there were about 300 units of Premium 360 left, and were giving printouts of the rebate form with each purchase.

Hmm, says that the rebate form cannot be found on their website, but we're still in the time frame, can anybody confirm that this is still avaliable?
 
Well... after the amazon fiasco I might just "settle" for paying $200. Still a pretty good deal. If anyone wants me to pick one up, I could probably do it for him/her.
 
sweet, the parents agreed to go halfs on the core system for a early christmas present. Looks like im only paying 150 for a premium system, which is actually a better deal than that horrid amazon crap.

BTW what would a xbox, and halo2, and a few others games bring at gamestop?

I picked one up while visiting Dallas this past weekend...

When you guys submit your rebate forms, are you cutting out the entire UPC Label with like 10 different barcodes on there, or are you just cutting out the UPC specifically?

I picked one up a Premium on Black Friday as well. Awesome deal.
 
Not sure if anyone's mentioned this, but Microcenter is also offering an additional $100 off if you sign up for their Microcenter Visa card. I signed up today at the store, they game me my account number (via paper printout), and I walked it to the register along with my xBox 360 Premium, where my new Microcenter Visa# was then manually entered into their register. Long story short, ask them about their Microcenter Visa card deal, and you can get an additional $100 off! I'm in San Jose, CA, and the one in Santa Clara had a ton of Premium and Core systems left.

I got one from ConsumerDepot for $299.99, Premium. Since I'm using my mom's credit card, I don't feel like doing these rebate things 😛
 
gengen, are you planning on getting microsoft's 2 year warranty plan... It costs $49.90 if you pay by credit card. My friend didn't purchase it with his unit, and Microsoft charged $50 to repair/replace his. Microcenter has a walk in exchange warranty like Fry's Electronics, but their two year replacement costs $59.99.

Anyhow, just a thought, as I hear the 20gig drives are the first things to fail... and at $100 a pop! =)

Heller91, unfortunately, I think this deal is for walk in purchase only, as no one's been able to locate the premium or core package on their website.

so i can get a premium for 200 bucks if I use the rebate and sign up for a microcenter card?
 
I picked one up last week. Got the $100 rebate plus Microcenter & Vonage are offering a $200 voucher that you can use right away if you sign up for 1 year of Vonage through Microcenter. Smoking hot deal especially if you can take advantage of the Vonage offer. You can't be an existing customer of Vonage and you must subscribe to the $24.99/mo. plan. If you terminate early, Vonage will charge $200 to your credit card.
