Its advertised in their InStore flyer under the Kodak CX 340. The first sku list the CX340 but the second sku is for the DX6490.

has proprietery lithium battery, though
I prefer AA batteries myself.

If you pass on every camera with a lithium battery you will NEVER own a high quality 10x optical zoom camera.

You must be new to digi cams I guess.

Agreed. I took a similar Kodak on vacation with me in Hawaii, and I bought the available higher-capacity lithium for like $30. The battery life amazed me and was never a problem - however I had to go buy an extra 256 mb card halfway through the trip!

I have the cam and would never go back to AA. The batttery has never run down on me yet.

Well, the big deal is if you are in the middle of some unusual location, (or even, say, Disneyworld) you have a much better chance of finding AA batteries than of finding an AC outlet to plug your charger into. I remember a couple years ago my POS early Canon Elph stranded me 35 minutes into a 2 hour festival/parade, and I missed some great shots - that thing got miserable battery life.

In Kodak's case, at least, the batts have surprisingly long life and are very reasonably priced so it was no big deal to carry an extra (or two).
