Crownjules has been talking about it in the LoL thread. Watched the video, and I have to say it actually looks like it'd be fun for a change from typical MOBA's.
 
At work currently, but the 10 seconds I watched in the middle of the video has peaked my interest.

Registered at their site, hopefully I'll get a beta invite and give this a go.

Me too. That is why i thought this needed another thread dedicated to it. And yeah, the game does look like a pretty decent change from the standard MOBAs. Hopefully they can keep the balance proper and keep the community interested with the skins etc.

I also have 3 beta keys if people need one; just PM me. I think it definitely has the potential to be very good, it just needs some time for them to close the gap with DOTA and LOL.

You're passing on a game entirely because it's made by the same studio that made Tribes, and the menus are vaguely similar-looking... despite them being two totally different games?

Nah, I'm passing because it's just another "arena" game with a different camera angle. Same laning, same farming, same objectives, same mechanics by and large.

Though I don't have a great deal of confidence in Hi-rez' balancing nor in companies that churn out free to play titles in general either.
 
Not bad at all.. in fact, I'm pretty excited to give it a try now. Would anyone happen to have an extra beta key?
 
Watched the review. I guess its a cool game if you are into that type of thing. Personally I'm not but wish them luck. The graphics looked to be pretty good.
 
i played it a couple of days... it is a nice game, but i already played a MOBA game (LoL) for 2 years (and was able to drop it), i didnt have the will to start farming points to unlock the gods 😛

but the game is kinda cool...the interface is ugly! but its beta, so no worry
 
I'm not. It was a pretty sweet game but as with most 5v5 games its incredibly player-dependent. I could never find a full 5 people to play with and uninstalled it in august.
 
coming out of beta tomorrow. i was late to join the party on this one, but i am loving it. much more enjoyable for me than LoL or Dota 2. I didn't like tribes ascend either, so didn't have high hopes but they knocked this one out of the park IMO.
