i'm trying to setup me to use the printer on the smc router.
it works on win98, but dont know how to set it up on win me. dont know where to input the ip address.

help pls

It seems to be the same for all versions of windows.
1) Install the printer driver for your printer on all computers that you will use with the router.

2) Install the print server software from the cd that came with router, on every pc that will use router.

3) Go to start - settings - printers, click on your printer, then right click & go to properties. Find the port settings for your printer, and choose PRTmate. You may only see the PRT, but if you extend it you will see PRTmate. The ip address for the router should already be there if you have the router on, but you can add it if you hit configure.

That should do it.🙂
