It's the 128mb 3.3 volt Smartmedia. I'd get it for my gf's digicam if I had any money left after buying it for her (Finepix 2800 Zoom). I've been looking for this for about a month. Hope you all enjoy, and have a good holiday season.

Nope, different format. You've got Smart Medica, Compact Flash, and Memory Stick format. All three are different. Compact Flash usually is a little cheaper than Smart Media, and both are normally a lot cheaper than Memory Sticks.

Compact Flash is bigger but more robust than smartmedia, which looks flimsy like the old 5 1/4 floppy disk. Compact flash is also faster in terms of transfer rate than smartmedia. However, I had no choice because I wanna get a Solid State mp3 player (probably the Rio One) and most only use smartmedia.

I'm giving this to my youngest son for Christmas. We already have a Nomad II and a Rio 300 but I got this for free in the Windows XP sale at best buy. One thing that impressed me about this is that you can put a 128 meg Smartmedia card in it to add to its already included 32 megs. This will give you 160 megs of memory. Off course I got a 128 meg memory card also. The Rio one isn't as sleek and doesn't have as many features as the more expensive models but it has all the basics and hold LOTS of memory. I got in on that Amazon 128 meg Viking memory sale a few weeks ago and got the 128 meg module shipped for $35.00 after rebate (If i ever get it). This also is a very good deal and cheaper than Newegg.com, they want $51.00 shipped.

Glad you all got in on this -- I only wish I did... Ah well, I got the camera-- I guess it's ok if she buys the memory (or her folks) :)

Errrr -

Can anyone e-mail me (or point me to) the rebate form for this memory. I printed it when I ordered but can't find the form now.

Any help? Please, please, please...
