Why do ATI have the uninstall download for SmartGART? Does it cause problems on some machines?
I am wondering about removing it as I cannot set my AGP speed any higher than 2x even though the Mobo supports 4X/8X and the card is a 2x/4x! If I set it to 4x it will cause lock-up problems. If I unistall the smartgart tab will this solve the problem or is something else causing the speed problems??
