Smartest person on television?

Given that we don't know them personally and therefore cannot pass conclusive personal judgment on any of them, I'd say Bill Maher is the smartest person on television.

I'm a big fan of Real Time.

He's a fucking idiot. I don't agree with Colbert or Stewart but I can see they have a smidgen of intelligence. Maher on the other hand is unfathomably stupid.
 
I've heard Brian Williams in interviews and read articles about the dude.

not only does he come across as exceedingly intelligent, but he's amazingly clever and witty, has a great sense of humor, and seems to be a real class act.

you're just a fool that is blinded by your seething bias and simply replacing your hatred with an assumption of stupidity.

These guys certainly are no fools. I think Bill Maher is a dick and mostly obnoxious, but he certainly is no idiot.
