Hmmm, I would feel "guilty" not buying an otherwise desirable property just because of a TV moving situation. Given the relative cost of the TV and the house you might be better off buying the house, selling the TV and getting another that will fit up the stairs. Even if you took a loss on the sale, this property may offer other fringe benefits that are worth $$$ to you that compensate. After all, it's just TV. :D

It's a rental, if I was buying the place that would be an entirely different story.

It means you'll be fine. Take as many people as possible when you do it, go slow & easy, & you'll be just fine.
