Question Smart hdd reset

From what I've read, many vendors reset the SMART of a HD so that when CrystalDiskInfo is started, it shows few hours of use and healthy

Can a basic surface test of any software find all these bad sectors and badblocks even if the smart was reset?

I tested two of my HDs:
