Is it normal to get a bunch of SMART disk errors in event manager. It seems to only happen when I play swat4. Its a seagate ST3120026A. Everything seems to be normal.

The seagate diskwizard diagnostics say no errors on a smart check, errors on a quick check (with no detailed information).

That's not good. You might wanna run the full test with the Seagate app.

No, its not normal, SMART basically tells you that certain specs are off. This could be power related since it only happens during a game. The drive may not be getting enough juice

ITs quite odd. I don't get any SMART errors in the event log except (I think) when I play swat4 which runs perfectly. There must some bad blocks with swat4 files there. I don't get any errors with BF2 although the disk gets quite a workout since its such a resource hog.

A full diskwizard diagnostic says SMART errors. But there is no other info and it basically just say back up, kinda ridiculous for a 20min check as I was expecting to know how bad it is.

Edit - The error msg in the event log - "The device, \Device\Harddisk1\DR1, has a bad block. "
