Smart Bird

hehe nice.

my aptmate has a similar bird. the bird will just emulate sounds. they will just say it on cue, and really probably do not know what they're saying.

like my aptmate's bird will go "huuuubert.." "huuuuuubert" (yes my raptmate's name is hubert)..

hubert to so annoyed that he kept on yelling shut up at it. But everytime the bird heard hubert's voice, the bird will go "huuuubert!!." then hubert will yell shut up, and the bird will yell back saying "shut up!."

except when the bird says "shut up," the voice in which it comes out as sounded eerily similar to hubert's.


one day, the bird started talking in chinese. The night before, there were many guests at his house, so the bird imitated the door ring bell, the door knocks and the chinese confoversations that ensued through that night.

haha thats awesome. However, given the somewhat dim-witted judges on that show, they probably gave him all 8s or something
