What kills me is that when anything questionable happens, Lana and Chloe immediately blame Clark (Clark is jealous, Clark is angry, Clark is just being secretive again). But, by the end of the show, Clark is right and Lana and Chloe end up psuedo-apologizing. You would think that after that happened for the 50th time that they would just say, "You really think that Clark!? Damn, I better get my act together!"

Like grimlock said, a lot of repetitiveness in this show...yet, I still find myself watching (mostly cause the wife likes it).

This show reminds me of ST: Voyager in a way. It has such promise, interesting characters, and occaisionally delivers, but most episodes are a rehash of the same old plot, with the same old outcome, and leaves potential that is just never fulfilled.

Ken Biller, executive producer of Voyager during Season 7 and involved throughout the shows run, started running Smallville at the start of season 2.

Here is one big flaw in that storyline:

Pete remember what he was going through when he had the parasite inside of him, but Chloe didn't? WTF!?!

No he didn't, Pete told the Kent's that Clark had filled him in.
