Lost, with Smallville recording on the VCR. Actually, reverse that. I'd rather watch Lost with the ability to fast-forward through commercials.

Lost in general > Smallville in general

However

Lost Season 1 Finale < Smallville Season 4 Finale

I thought the season finale had nothing particularly special about it. In fact, if anything, it was less cliffhanger-ey than a normal episode; it had a disturbing finality to it, like the show's producers made it so they could end it there and mindf%$# us all if they felt like it.

I actually enjoyed the first and second season of 24. The third, and even the fourth, were not bad at all.

I have every single episode of the last season. It's basically the only thing I watch but I kinda think I'm too old to watch it since I'm like 25 but I've always been a Superman fan. I've never seen Lost before. What's it about?

Smallville just has great season premieres and season finales. The rest of the season is boring filler(or at least it is now, it was great for awhile). They should kill off Lana or something.

Does this post give anybody else the impression that jj2005 has just ingested... no, snorted an entire pack of Pixie Stix and is alternating between posting and washing his hands every 5 seconds?

Lost is about a group of plane crash survivors who have crash landed on a deserted tropical island 1000 miles off course on a trans-Atlantic flight. Seems tame enough, except for the part where there's some kind of huge, unearthly-sounding creature in the jungle that seems to be capable of knocking down dozens of trees in one fell swoop. Or the fact that there are Polar Bears on the island. Or how the guy who used to be a paraplegic can suddenly walk, run, and even hunt like he was born in the jungle. Or... yeah, you get the idea. It's very odd, bordering on SciFi/Fantasy. It really reminds me of The Prisoner for some reason.

Smallville jumped the shark when they had a "super-dog", IMHO. Lost is still interesting, but it's only season 1. Let's see what it does for season 2.
