how much more is it for these a$$es to put one on them notebooks?
i have been seeing all these sub $700-900 notebooks and all of them have no
serial ports which i need. Instead of 2-4 usb, i'd gladly trade some for a fvcken serial port.
i've had to give up sooo many lappy deals because of this and its always the real, REAL
heavy and pricey ones that have the serial ports...like friggin does it cost so much more to
include that 70s techonology?...

while i'm at it...wtf is wrong with that wavy windows-icon key on them lappys?..
can't they standardize its placemnt on keyboards or what?...its mostly the same
place on all regular sized keyboards but friggin retards cannot agree on the same place
for lappys?..instead of having it near left, they ave it so damn far away on other side i can't
combo press it and another key(like E)...fingers not long enuff.

and fvcken cheap ibm ...get a clue...its 2002, and still u will not find a Windows key(described above)
on any of their laptop keyboards...wtf is up with that? do they have to pay MS to get it there?..
or they just too cheap ?

I don't think its cost effective for a company to include something most people won't use, and if you do need it I'm sure there are USB-> Serial Adapters or PCMCIA->Serial.

I use Linux so I don't need the Windows key, but its there, I just bind it to something else if I really want to use it.

firstly thats awesome...one more piece of crap to buy...install...get lost..
usb to serial adapter...when u need to access a cisco switch/router/pix..that sux balls
then..yeh i use linux too but its a pain on a lappy so i revert to windows.

ctrl-esc?....what?! i use that too but
maybe i'm dumb...
gimme a ctrl-esc combo for "winkey+e" and "winkey+break" "winkey+r"...etc
plus those are just 2 button combos...if i have to friggin use more than 2 fingers...and GOD forbid 2 hands...
then the stupid combo is worthless

yeh....they really need to standardize the placement of the windows key...

windows key + r, +e, +pause/break....plus anything....thats all ya ever need...

and the friggin fn key....they like swap em all over the place on different lappies....annoying beyond belief

no sh1t man! yep i'm with u on that Fn key too...friggin all odd colors...i've seen 3 diff colors on them keys on the same keybard...wtf?...i'm not a kindergarten kid like u gotta color-code my diapers

heh...i don't think kindergarten kids have yet the intellect to gurgitate this amount of whining
so yeah i think i'm beyond that :D
plus i think they do more crying than whining.
