Smallest SFF Case?

What's the smallest SFF case out there? I'm looking for something that has a height of under 6"...I don't know if this is even possible.

Yeah...I kind of want my cake and eat it too...I want to fast, new, machine, but I also need it to be small...

Heck...I'd even go normal ATX if I can find a case that I can lay on it's side that's under 6 inches (more like 5.5)

I can't think of any desktop PC's that thin, but I'll bet that a Mac Mini or a laptop would fit in that spot without ANY trouble.

Oh, a 2U or 3U rackmount server case would fit in that spot that thin as well.

Edit: I changed the sizes, since 1U rackmount cases only seem to work with motherboards that use integrated video. No good for gaming.

Yeah, a mac mini would easily fit but not enough "umph". I need something that will run WoW on my 24" Dell LCD, a 7200 rpm hard drive, and shoot...after that I'm open to whatever.

I'll check out the server case...thanks for the suggestion.

BTW- You're right, a laptop would have no problem fitting there...I may end up lookin at doing that too.

Yep, those would work too. If you want to stick with full size ATX motherboards, though, there are a few nice desktop cases that are under six inches high. 3U rack mount server cases would work as well, and would easily fit a full size video card.

You could probably do a 2U case as well, but it might be tough to find a video card that would fit. Some of those cases only take "low profile" cards, while others require to use a riser board that mounts the card horizontally
