I normally dont ask these questions, but can anyone suggest a small upgrade <$100 that i can do to tide me over until mid fall when i do a complete upgrade to Dual Core, A64, G70/R520.

Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe
AMD 2500+ @ 2ghz @ 1.65v
2x 512mb (1gig) Corsair Value Select 2.5-3-3-12
MSI 5900XT-VTD128 w/VIVO @ 450 x 797
Seagate Barracuda 7200.7 SATA 150 120Gig
Asus E616P2 DVD-ROM
NEC 3520a DVD-RW
Soundstorm Audio

4x Panaflo 80mm's @ 1/4 Speed
1x 92mm Panaflo @ 1/2 Speed for CPU
Thermalright SLK-947U Pure Copper HS

Dell 1905FP 19" Monitor via DVI
Logitech Z-640 5.1 Speakers
Logitech Elite Keyboard
Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 3.0
Sidewinder Precision Pro 2 Joystick

I think that covers everything. I would like something that will give a performance improvement but any suggestions are fine.

i would say don't upgrade, you can't get anything much for that price, so i wouldn't bother

Get a few new games to play. $100.00 isn't going to help you with any real upgrade.

How much memory are you running? It says the type but no amount.

Im toying with the idea of getting another HDD and setting up a RAID-0 array. While it will give virtually no performance increase; i would like to have some experience with RAID. I was also toying with the idea of getting an Audigy 2. But right now, the Soundstorm works like a champ. So ill wait until Creative releases their new chip on PCI-E and buy that one.

THe only other thing i was thinking of, would be to get some sound dampening foam and quiet the computer down even more. Right now it is barely audible across the room, but you can clearly hear it when typing next to it.

Im thinking the HDD will probably be the last upgrade before the big one. (Dual Core, A64, PCI-E, G70/R520; ooh cant wait :) )
