Some nice photos here. Though unfortunately the saturation has been turned up to 1000.

Nice pictures, but this is far from small town, it's a suburb of Toyko.
It's only 18 minutes to the busiest train station in the world! Like taking the Skytrain from Metrotown to Burrard.
I lived here for 8 months. This is small town Japan. 😀
Eight months and you only have google images to share. 🙁 I'm hope to visit Japan someday.

It so clean~ wish more people here had respect for their surroundings
Some Richard Gere movie is out based on Hachiko, the dog statue sitting outside of Shibuya station. I'm too lazy to look it up but think the movie is Hachi?
Cool area but definitely not what I would consider a small town. Can't wait to be back over there in a couple of months.
BTW, nothing like walking into Mr. Donut, getting your food, walking out, and realizing you now smell like a walking cigarette. 😛

must be nice to bike somewhere and not worry about bringing a lock.

Yeah, that blew me away too. I would never leave even a shitty bike unlocked for a minute anywhere here in Vancouver (and it's a much smaller city than even a suburb of Tokyo). Bike theft is rampant.
Also, I'm amazed at how clean the buildings and streets are. No garbage or graffiti.
It's kind of a sad commentary on Canada when a much larger city manages to be so much cleaner and safer.
Yeah I remember walking around Tokyo at 3:00 in the morning, taking shortcuts through alleys with few people around and feeling completely safe. I would never do that here, down random alleys anyway; I have no problem walking around late at night, but there still a lot of sketchy alleyways around here.
I also loved the umbrella sharing system they had in place. If it started raining you could just take an umbrella from outside a store and leave it outside your next destination. It was like a free sharing system, so you don't have to carry one around all the time, yet you were never caught out it in the rain. 😎
