Small "server" cases

I'd like to build up and maintain 2-4 "servers" in my house, and want to find smallish cases with decent cooling - quiet would be a plus. I plan on storing them in a closet (one with an AC vent).. ;-)

Don't need lots of drive bays (but at least 2 3.5 internal) -- interested in "cube" style cases, ESPECIALLY if they're "stackable".

Thought about going rackmount, but that seems to get expensive quickly.

Any suggestions?

There going in a closet? You won't need a case. Just a metal base with some stand-off if even that for each computer. Going that route, you save $200 right off the bat.

Anyway if I were putting computers in a closet, that is all I would do.

Rackmount would be the best way to do this, but you're right, they do get expensive quickly. One thing you could do is check any businesses in your area that may have gone out of business recently (they'll sometimes give you good deals on stuff: I got a wraparound desk for $75) or you could try your hand at making your own rackmounts.

i like the 9001 server case. just go to pricewatch.com and in the search bar, type in 9001 server and they'll give you sites where you can find info on them...
