small rant: folk rock revolution is killing my ears

been driving my wife's car recently and since she doesn't have satellite radio i've been stuck listening to FM stations and every other song is friggin mumford and sons or those other bands that sound exactly like them. what is the appeal of this band? I want to gouge my ears every time i hear their stupid hipster banjo and dumb irish (or whatever) accents!!!!! D: D: D: :thumbsdown:

the folk sound is so in right now but it sounds so fake. am i the only one that can't stand these assholes?

Go to radio station and shoot everyone there - punishment of music they play that you don't like and you mind is filled with hate...
That's how it's done recently in US...

IT'S MUCH EASIER... to rant, "call names" of those assholes in radio station, who plays music you don't like or just simply go there and to shoot all of them...THAN...TO SWITCH TO RADIO STATION, THAT PLAYS MUSIC YOU LIKE...
 
The Avett Brothers is another one. Every channel sounds like it's broadcasting a SXSW show these days.

I have to say I'm glad it's not dubstep that got really popular.

yeah, i like traditional bluegrass and a friend of mine is convinced that anything with a banjo is blugrass. meh. i dont hate mumford and sons...i just find them sort of boring.
 
I agree with the OP to some degree. I like some of Mumford and Sons' songs, but most of it I don't like.
