Small Network

Hello, I'm rather new to networking, and I have a question I would like to know the answer of:
I want to set up a small Networking where the Physical topology is a star topology. Having the hub as the central point. Also one of the station would have a printer hooked up to it. Now the question is:
Is there anyway that I could program the station that has the printer to act as a server for printing requests? Or there's an easier way to solve this problem. Thanks in advance

If you use Windows, you can simply set up File and Printer Sharing, share the printer, install the appropriate print driver on each PC, and point the port to the shared printer.

Yes you can do that. Or you can get a dedicated print server which connects to the printer and to the hub, so you don't need to dedicate a computer to being the print server.
