I think it might be my lymph node... there's a small lump in my armpit.. a little forward.. It's about the diameter of a nickel or quarter... seems round like a ball and is sore if I poke or squeeze it. It was there this morning out of nowhere.

I'd go to the doctor but i'm inbetween insurance providers..

Last time I had a lump like that, it grew to the size of a baseball.

It turned out to be cat scratch fever.

I googled and I have not even touched a cat in months, I for sure haven't been scratched by one in years.. probably two years at least.

wtf are you serious? I mean I was thinking I might wait and see what happens... I'd rather not pay $1200 or however much for a doctor to tell me it's nothing

I get those occasionally. Went to the doctor and was told that it was just a subdural sebatious cyst (basically a really big and deep zit ;))... it will go away in a few days.

Dude, the local clinic isn't going to charge that much just to look at it. If it's nothing to worry about then you're out probably less than $100.00.

WTGDF are you talking about?

I'll take pics tonight. It's like in my armpit, probably not even large enough to stick out hardly at all.. but if you squeeze the skin surrounding it you can feel it's like a little mass

I haven't been to the doctor in absolute ages... last time I was like 7 or so.. I'm 19 now

What about one of those physicians immediate places?

Yes I'm dead serious.

At first the doc thought it could possibly be lymphoma.

Don't try to pop it (they're really deep, so deep that they're more likely to pop and leak internally... I've tried... even with a scalpel). If it's really painful... too painful to bear, you can go to the doctor and they'll lance it... but otherwise, it'll shrink pretty fast... within 3 or 4 days, if you leave it alone.

I just remembered that degree sent me a free sample of their deodorant... I wonder if it's an allergic reaction. there's no rash or anything, just a small lump a little denser than my skin.
