That's an aftermarket head unit. I'm pretty sure MFT doesn't have that capability or I've never seen it. In fact, I'm pretty sure all the Ford vehicles do is light up a TPMS-related LED on the dash when a tire is too low.

Ford Mustang tire pressure shows up like the lexus does.

Ford inherited the technology when Daimler-Chrysler sold their off their IP.

Has RDS, but won't let you see the information while the car is moving

WAY too sensitive traction control. Allows no slippage whatsoever. The car is a disaster in snowy or icy conditions where you may need a little wheel spin to keep the car moving.
 
VW Tiguan, about 2010?

The navigator maps are on a CD and it needs to be in there for the navigator to work, and if the CD is in, you can't insert other CDs. Super stupid. I don't care because I just listen to the radio but still.
Also trunk is smallish but I guess that comes with compact SUVs.
 

The overly sensitive low tire pressure warning also goes off every time it gets cold, and it doesn't bother to tell you what tire it thinks is low.

It's likely your spare tire is low. The TPMS sensors actually only go off if one of the tires is 25% below specification which is a LOT. Add more air to all of your tires and this wouldn't happen as obviously at least one of them is low.
 
There is only one problem with my 2014 Mazda 3s.

Unfortunately it is not small. Its the infotainment center. When it screws up you lose nav, backup cam, radio, bluetooth, and the usb ports in the console. The hardware is fine it is the software that is utter garbage.
 
2014 Mazda 3

- center arm rest has no resistance in the hinge so it's hard to keep it open
- the front seat bottoms need to be longer. Also the stitching across the bottom hurts me after a couple hours
- center console juts out slightly into the passenger footwell ( I see no reason why this was necessary and annoys my knees)
- terrible rear visibility so it's hard to backup without the camera (thankfully it's quite good)
- highway road noise is kinda high, may be the tires though
- gas gauge is oddly nonlinear and goes to light roughly 5 gallons before empty. Most I've put in was 12 gallons (14 gal tank) and that ran the gauge to 0.
- auto climate is push on, but not push off. Have to change a fan setting or direction for it to go manual. Passenger side is push on/off though. However the auto is good so I rarely do so.

Otherwise I quite like the car and would recommend.

It is the tires. I replaced the stock tires at 3500 miles and put on Michelin Pilot Super Sport A/S 3s and the road noise improved dramatically.

Not sure why they choose a non linear gauge, but most gas gauges on new cars will show empty/0 range and still have 2-3 gallons in the tank.

2015 Corvette
- HUD, while having a lot of information is not configurable enough for what I would want to see. For example, still haven't figured out how to get audio information to show.
- Exhaust switches between quiet/loud even in track mode too often. Would like to completely over ride computer and just have it open at all times without pulling a fuse.
- Transmission is a little stiff until car gets warm.
- Hill assist can not be disabled.

My Toyota Sienna from the same year had the same problem. And worse, no way to turn it off

That's good to hear. It's a lease otherwise I'd do so.

Doesn't make sense to me either since it also goes down at odd intervals.
 
Might as well throw my wife's car in the list as well.

2008 Taurus X Limited

(Car has around 80,000 miles on it)

- Drivers side heated seat burned out twice (dealer repair fee = $700)
- Second row flip fold seat mechanism has broken more times than I can count (dealer repair fee = $500)
- Ipod connector broke into several pieces (dealer cannot fix)
- CD player randomly refuses to accept retail CDs. Requires powering the car off on back on to the eject the CD which 9 times out of 10 works the next time around.
- Paint has completely flaked off of the wheel cover details
- Traction control sometimes randomly engages and stays on requiring coming to a full stop to reset.

Nothing in the list keeps the car from being road capable, and it does handle nicely for a boat. Still my last couple of Fords have been money pits with all of the stupid stuff that has broken on them. Pretty sure her next car will be a Mazda which makes me a little sad.

Or...check tire pressure and add air to the tire(s) that are low.
 
My last motorcycle had a range of about 100 miles which was really really annoying. My current bike will go about 130 miles before the low fuel light comes on and I could go another 30-40 miles after that easily. 200 miles is about the max range I've ever seen on a bike (199 actually and I was coasting over to the side of the freeway at that). :awe:

I typically fuel up the CBR1K at 150.
My ZX11 could go to about 250 miles between fillups. I don't think I hit reserve on that bike ever.

The Mustang must be different then, because the Taurus simply has a dash-based LED that indicates that a tire has low pressure. Now, this doesn't necessarily mean that the information isn't available through the ECU as the system may have the info, but it just doesn't show it. That would certainly explain why that aftermarket unit was able to display it without any problems.
