Small HTPC

I'm thinking about building a small HTPC that can game. I wanna use at least 3 PCI slots for graphics, TV tuner and WiFi, so that rules out a Mini-ITX system. Shuttle seem to be overpriced and not very modifiable so it seems I'm stuck with Micro-ATX. I looked at some cases and a lot of them are 17" deep which is too big for my TV stand, but I found a few smaller 13-14" ones on Newegg:

However these cases use a TFX power supply. Decent Seasonic or FSP 300W TFX power supplies are available, but I'm not sure how good they'd be with powering graphics, HDD, ODD, TV tuner, WiFi... In theory it should be ok if I stick to mid-range graphics.

Has anyone tried something like this before with any success?

Well I was making somewhat of a small HTPC out of the rig in my sig and I decided to go with a Microfly case. They are 12" deep so it is not as deep as some cases.

Depends on what you want to do
ITX and gaming? Good luck unless your board can support 2GB ram, pci-e full rise, lga775 (core2) cpu
ITX and BluRay/1080P HD? Good luck unless your board can support pci-e full rise, dual core cpu
