Small horizantial lines appear on bios screen of my Epox 4g4a

Just put together my new system and installed my 4g4a that I never got to installing since last fall. When I start up the computer I get strange small horizantial lines accross the screen. Some are colored and some are not and appear to be different parts of the boot screen just scattered all over. I have a Radeon 9500 if that helps any and have updated the bios with no luck. Otherwise everything runs fine. Anyone know what my problem is?
