small freezer for auto (know of one?)

Does anyone know if they make a portable freezer intended for vehicle use? In short, my favorite ice cream(Perry's) is about 5 hours away. So next time I go to an area with it, Iwant to bring 2-3 boxes back with me. But that requires a freezer.

I'd do any needed wiring on my own. I've run 4 gauge on y own before, so it's not a big deal for me to do.

Anyone?

Here you go.

I have several of these for the many camping trips I take in my VW bus.

Those are just coolers right? I don't know how well they would keep icecream for 4 hours.

About the same as using Ice in a regular cooler. I'd say use these and keep the AC going😉

I forgot to mention, these coolers are not refrigerators, they are coolers, they work on bi-metallic / exothermic heat transfer, they do not contain freon, compressors, condensers, evaporators.

They will keep your ice cream from melting if they are precooled for up to 6 hours. (On the premium models)

yeah, what roger said

you can't get a frig/freezer with a compressor to use in a car/run off 12VDC

you have to use one of those coolers

it would be MUCH cheaper/EASIER to just pack the ice cream in a normal cooler with DRY ICE
