Small, condensed games.

So, I have a ton of free time in my programming class after I finish my project and need something do. My teacher is a gamer so he doesn't care if I play in class if my work is done. I'm looking for a game that I can condense to less than 1gb and carry on a flash drive to class and just drag it right off and play. I'd like it to be some mainstream game, not some homemade thing. The computers are from like 99 so they are pretty slow. IIRC 800mhz P3, 512mb-1gb ram, some sort of dedicated gpu. So what are my options?

Have you considered emulators? Those are real fun and quick. In my accounting class (not much free time in it) I fire up my NES Emu, play a level or two of Super C or Contra, and go back to work/teacher's lecture. 🙂
