I was looking for a few ATX I/O shields but, to my surprise, could not find anyone selling them.

I would hate to have a hole in the back of the PC :disgust:

Does anyone know a place selling them?

Thanks.

I'm sure you could get one for about $2 shipped in the For Sale/Trade forum :D Your motherboard should have come with one, and most cases do too. Are you after an unusual one or something?

I'd like to give this a bump, because I think I'm in the same boat. I just received an Alabtron PX845PEV PRO motherboard that includes the onboard ethernet connector. I also am waiting on a Fong Kai FK-603 from Directron. I'm afraid that this case will come with an I/O shield that lacks the extra cut out for the ethernet. The Alabtron MB did not come with an I/O shield. The illustration of the chieftec I/O shield in iddqd's post is exactly what I think I'll be needing very shortly.

Just ask in the FS/FT forum.

Heck, I have a bunch ( that I am keeping for case modding purposes :p ) I am sure others do not need one.

Addtronics offers several different ones, along with a pretty good selection of other case parts....

Thanks for the tip Jhhnn, but I took a quick look and didn't see an I/O plate with the cut out for the ethernet connector, which is what I need. I think there is a new standard, which puts the ethernet connector right above the usb ports, and this is why Alabatron didn't bother to include an I/O shield with their motherboard, but it doesn't seem like all cases makers are ready to make these available, yet.
