Small Business Server - Plz recommend backup software

Hi,

I was wondering what people recommend for small business backup. Currently
we're using a Dantz product (6.5), but I'm not overly fond of it. What about
Veriatas' product?

I'm looking for the samething for SBS 2003. Anyone still use tape backups these days? Is DVD generally better/cheaper for back up purposes?

SBS already has a backup program built but I guess it must crappy...

Most big installs use tapes since their capacity is many times higher than a DVD and they're more resiliant.

I hate Veritas and its cryptic error messages, but it's a popular product. I hear Arcserv sucks, but that's 3rd party information. I don't know why it sucks, so take that info with a handful of salt.

MOst of the veritas and restropect run around 400 - 500 bucks. I need a cheaper server based sw for a small business.
