The Kia and Hyundai brands are both owned by Hyundai Motors, which is a Korean auto maker, not North American.

EDIT: They're actually part of Hyundai Kia Automotive Group.

Does it have to be on a car company that isn't a division of a larger company? What constitutes a large company and a small company? You need to figure that out before you even bother doing any searching.
