This is slowly getting annoying ...

Everyday when I wake up, I find 3-4 ants just running around in my tub or on my bathroom countertop. I tried to look for their entrance point, but I cant find anywhere. I sprayed down possible entrances, but no good. Raid whatever ant bait traps, useless.

Anyway to get rid of them? Not that I dont enjoy drowning them every morning...

Get a hedgehog to live in your tub and another one to roam free in the bathroom. They love to eat ants.

ant traps usually take awhile to work, ya know.. since the ant has to take it back to the colony, etc..

what seems to work the best w/ ants, in my experience is to jsut keep them out of the house. No matter how much poison you dump directly onto thier nest, they seem to be back a few months later. What I recommend is getting a tube of caulk, and caulking EVERY hole that ants can come through. If you do that, and they still come in, find the spot that you missed... follow the ants till they leave. It might take a while, but eventually they'll go back where they came, then plug up that hole.

They could have a nest somewhere in your house. Possibly under some rotted boards on your roof. Remember, they only need a hole the size of a pin.

<--- goes blames the neighbors

Note this is a newer apartment, about 6 mo old, and I only eat food in the kitchen area.
