I'm in OK...but too far away from the epicenter of this one to feel anything. I was reading an OU forum a few mintues ago...several posters that live in the Norman area felt the small quake.

OK has around 50-100 earthquakes a year.

Interesting, watch when I get there in 3-4 years they will have "the big one" and everyone anywhere near OKC will be dead. EEK!

wtf. . . no way.

Yosemite is about to BLOW!

Yosemite is too far east.

Reno is in trouble.

Major stress has built up around that area and it's going to be a big one there.

The Geysers at Yosemite will be affected as well.

ouch batman. . .

weird shit, granted GA and SC have been known to have a quake or two, but I honestly have never felt them. The world is mad at us for thinking that a God existed, just earth's way of punching us back.

/runs from all the religious folks (it was a joke people)

That's it...I'm taking my 8 posts and blowing this joint. :)

Yeah it is weird. I'm probably off on the 50-100 quakes a year...but most occur sw of OKC. There's some mountains (yes mountains) near there...Wichita Mountains I believe. Really quite beautiful and seriously out of place.

Experienced a 5.4 in North Georgia 2 years ago.
The epicenter was actually just over the Georgia border in Payneville Alabama.
Just south of Cloudland Canyon.

House was on a slab on a Mountain so it was enough to jolt right out of bed.

Yeah, if I remember I heard about this one driving to school that day. Was lots of talk about it at school that day, people freaking out. Silly fools.
