Anyone play this? I'm no a wrestling fan but some of my friends are and want something for some multilayer action. I can get 2007 for $15-20 or 2008 for $40-45. Is 2008 that much better? Any big differences?

they changed a lot in 08 by implementing fighting styles (which noticeably changed gameplay). if the sole purpose of buying it is just for some multi-player fun then 07 should be just fine for you. but if your friends really wanted more up-to-date rosters or the extra match type you might want to go 08.

These games are fun as hell to play multiplayer and are the only reason me and my friends play these games. It helps a little if you like wrestling. Just get 07 if you just want to have some fun.

once you know the strategy it's easy. just let them do all the work getting the meter all the way down and then beat them a bit so you can grab it and win quickly.
