I'd definitely wait until you see independent reviews of battery life and performance. It could be a cool little device, but it's a lot of money to play games that aren't optimised for a tiny screen.

I think I rather get the handheld claimshell one with that also has a keyboard in addiction to the controls. I forget the name.

Wow, talk about making a product basically no one was asking for except for a small group of kick-starters it seems.

All renders, no shots of the actual physical product, I wonder if they're doing just enough to make sure they don't get called kick-starter scammers. I'd be shocked if one of these things actually made its way into the hands of an actual consumer.

A little over $1k for the best unit? They look really cool, but no thanks.

Companies are still putting out products that make no sense. What about Smartphone gaming? The only people that would even think about purchasing something like this would be the ultra hardcore gamer. Besides that, it's mostly a novelty item. Oh look at what I bought. Check it out. I just wasted a little over $1k.

It's based around a 14nm chip, and a controller design that Valve scrapped has since scrapped... When this finally ships it's going to be pretty dated.
