A friend in Vietnam has a clone PC with Asus P5GS-MX 133 motherboard.

Right now in the device manager, it has a yellow question in the SM Bus Controller (something about the pc saw a new drive and will need to restart for the change to take effect) and I can't fix it. She can't find the MB CD and I tried to download the latest chipset driver from Asus website but no help. Plus I don't know what the SM bus controller is and we can't use US Google, only google vietnam and it is not very good.

Can anyone help? TIA from her and me and she is a cutie ...sorry but not pix...yet :D

Is this the board?

You said P5GS-MX 133
But this is P5GC-MX/1333

Which operating system?
Try to download the driver from the Intel website.

You want the "INF Update Utility"
http://downloadcenter.intel.co...roductID=2115<=eng (If 945 is the chipset)
Click the Release Notes(.htm) it has a list of all supported chipsets for that driver.

This.
