Sluggish system performance when accessing network

I am connecting my laptop via tis wireless bluetooth adapter to my wireless modem. and i'm connecting my Desktop pc to that wireless modem via a USB wireless adapter that came bundled with the modem (USR). Today I tried copying a 150 MB file from my laptop to the desktop pc, but while copying my laptop became so sluggish in performance 🙁

the copy process took about 6 mins. but why did the performance become crappy during the file transfer? how can i fix this?

kthxbye

The likely culprit is your Bluetooth adapter. Bluetooth 1.x is limited to about 1Mbps.

but what does my bluetooth adapter have to do with my network connection? I am connected via my wireless network adapter

4200RPM HDD can't help either...

I am not talking about the performance. I know that 4200 RPM is slower. But I am talking about the 90% CPU Usage! something is wrong!
